Field Service Management
What happens in the field, visible at head office at the same moment.

In companies with service and field teams, work is usually dispatched by phone and reported verbally in the evening. That model can neither balance workload nor prove what was done. In the system we build, the work order is assigned centrally, the technician sees it in a mobile app, fills the form, captures photos and a signature — and the record lands centrally at once. With no connection it queues on the device and syncs when one returns.

Decisions to make upfront03
- 01Is offline operation required?
- If your teams work in basements, inside plants or rural sites, yes — and it shapes the architecture significantly. It is hard to retrofit, so it must be decided upfront.
- 02How far does location tracking go?
- Continuous tracking is sensitive both legally and for employee trust. For most companies the right design is location verification at check-in and check-out rather than continuous monitoring, and we define that explicitly in the contract and privacy notice.
- 03Who provides the technician’s device?
- Company-issued hardware or personal phones — the answer changes both app design and the security model.

Frequently asked02
- Does it work with no internet?
- Yes. Tasks download to the device, forms and photos are stored locally, and the queue syncs in order once a connection returns.
- How does it talk to our ERP?
- Parts issue, warranty checks and invoicing can stay on the ERP side; the mobile layer calls them through a single connection layer.
