Cheffi — Outdoor Cooking E-Commerce

Outdoor cooking equipment is a catalogue of bulky, highly specified products where the buyer knows roughly what they want and needs to narrow it. As the catalogue grows, a product that cannot be filtered to is a product that does not sell.

We built the store on the MERN stack with advanced product filtering, real-time stock and a secure payment flow, responsive throughout, and sized the architecture for high traffic and later growth rather than for the current catalogue.

Buyers reach the right product by specification rather than by scrolling, and stock shown is stock that exists. That compounds as the catalogue grows: because the filtering architecture is already in place, new categories are added without disturbing what exists. Live stock removes the root cause of cancellations and returns rather than managing their consequences.
