Enterprise software in Istanbul

We have no office in Istanbul; our base is Kayseri. We run the work here by travelling for meetings and being on site through the critical phases — we say so up front so nobody assumes otherwise.

The ground here01

The work that reaches us from Istanbul comes from a different place than elsewhere: exporters’ associations, chambers, professional bodies and companies headquartered here. What they share is an internal operation built around a membership or an application flow.

What we build for associations and chambers02

We have built member and request management systems for exporters’ associations. In this kind of organisation the work starts with a membership record and continues as dues, applications, document approvals and correspondence; held in separate places, nobody can see a member’s current standing on one screen.

In the systems we build, which stage an application has reached, whose desk it is on and how long it has been there are all visible. A late answer to a member is usually not a missing decision but a missing record of who is holding it.

Headquarters in Istanbul, production elsewhere03

A clear share of the work from Istanbul is really two-city work: the decisions are made here, the plant or warehouse is in Anatolia. The problem is not technical but temporal — data from the floor reaches the centre late, so every decision arrives a step behind.

We build one system for both ends, each side working from its own screen. When we need to be on the floor we travel to the city with the plant, not to Istanbul.

Remote or on site?04

We come to Istanbul for analysis and acceptance meetings. The weekly rhythm of development runs remotely, and our team is on site for go-live and the training waves.

We work this way for the nature of the job rather than its cost: building a system without seeing the person who will use it produces the most expensive kind of mistake to correct later.

Web, e-commerce and mobile05

On the Istanbul side, demand for web and e-commerce runs heavier than for enterprise systems. We build member-facing portals for associations, corporate sites for companies, and e-commerce for brands selling direct to consumers.

What sets the price?
Frequently asked07
Do you have an Istanbul office?
No. Our base is Kayseri and it is our only office. We are in Istanbul for meetings and through go-live and training.
Have you delivered work to organisations in Istanbul?
Yes, exporters’ associations among them. The names we are permitted to publish are on the references page.
Does working remotely make the project harder?
No, because what runs remotely is the development. We travel for the phases that have to happen face to face: analysis, acceptance and training.

Let’s talk.

If you have a system to build, write to us — we come to the first meeting.
